South from Alaska

I’m from the USA, and have the privilege of seeing godwits in Juneau, Alaska while visiting my cousins there. I heard on RNZ news this week that the arrival of the godwits was welcomed by the chiming of the Nelson cathedral bells. I thought you might like a photo my husband and I took. Esther Woodcock
