Smart means small

I amso sorry that Nelson/Whakatu is still in the old mindset of turning rural land into suburbs. There’s plenty of land in town for people to build small blocks of flats or townhouses. They can be built quickly, with minimal disruption and often very little additional infrastructure.

I don’t think developers are a good fit for a Smart Little City. We need smart, small-scale builders. Elizabeth Dooley
