Symptoms of blood cancer
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month. Blood cancer can strike anyone at any time, and there is no known cause for blood cancer. A simple blood test could diagnose blood cancer. Speak to your doctor if you are showing any of these symptoms (usually in a cluster):
● Regular and frequent fevers, chills
● Persistent fatigue, weakness, dizzy spells
● Loss of appetite, nausea
● Headaches
● Unusual bleeding/bruising
● Unexplained weight loss
● Night sweats
● Bone/joint pain
● Abdominal discomfort
● Shortness of breath
● Frequent infections
● Itchy skin or skin rash
● Swollen lymph nodes in the neck, underarms or groin
