Tom Baragwanath wins Michael Gifkins Prize

Baragwanath, who is originally from Masterton and now lives in Paris, this week won the $10,000 award for his unpublished crime novel Paper Cage. Baragwanath wrote Paper Cage while completing his Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Kent in 2020. It will be published by Text Publishing in September 2022.
