Your recent ‘‘Talking point’’ article (Waikato Times, July 14) examining the He Puapua report should be compulsory reading for the Leader of the Opposition.

Given Judith Collins’ talent for making something out of very little, it should be demanded of her that she read the article’s final sentence:

‘‘Stuff understands that there is likely to be a preliminary document for public discussion by the end of the year.’’

That is the consultation that Ms Collins claims is missing from policymaking.

In future, before telling us what’s good for us, she needs to get her facts straight.
