Matamata raider Dark Destroyer won the $272,000 Rough Habit Plate (2143m) for the Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott stable at Eagle Farm near Brisbane yesterday. Dark Destroyer and Kiwi jockey Sam Weatherley staved off Paternal to win by a short neck. Entriviere (NZ) was a huge third from well back in the $1.09m Doomben (1200m).
