Pedal 4 Pleasure back for another year

Marton’s Pedal 4 Pleasure cycling event will return to the region for another year encouraging anyone and everyone to have a go. The iconic event will ride through Rangitīkei country roads on Sunday, March 26. There are three distances cyclists can enter including the challenging 82km with 1000m of climbing, the 40km scenic ride and the 18km fun ride with a morning tea stop on the way, perfect for all ages and abilities. Last year’s event saw more than 180 cyclists on normal and electric bikes, raising money for the local youth and wellbeing initiatives. Running alongside Marton’s Harvest Festival, cyclists are invited to see what the festival has to offer once they finish their leg of the event. Non-riding friends and family can enjoy the day with stalls, food, a beer tent and live entertainment until it closes at 4pm.
