Forest remains identified
Police have identified human remains found in a forest in Northland. The remains were found in Diggers Valley, just south of the Far North town, by local forestry workers on Monday. Police have since established who they belonged to and informed family members. A spokeswoman said the investigating Coroner had ruled that the name should not to be released, but confirmed the matter was not being treated as suspicious.
