Gun fired in Auckland CBD

Five men were arrested following a disorder incident involving a gun in the Auckland CBD. Police attended the incident on High St near Freyberg Place about 11.30pm on Friday, a spokesperson said. A firearm was reportedly shot into the air in the scuffle. A seriously injured person was allegedly assaulted and later treated in hospital. The five men aged 18 to 26 were charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
