Panthers purring again as Raiders routed

The Penrith Panthers rebounded from last weekend’s hammering by the Eels to tame the Canberra Raiders 26-6 in Canberra last night in the NRL. The Panthers have lost key players to injuries and suspensions, but tries to Apisai Koroisau, Stephen Crichton, Dylan Edwards and Jaeman Salmon, boosted by five Crichton goals, gave them an eight-point lead on the table, while the Raiders slipped out of the top eight playoffs after trailing 14-6 at halftime.
