❚ A feature last week about Kiwi golfer Steven Alker had an incorrect byline. It was written by Tom Mackin, not Kevin Norquay.

❚ A story about Auckland’s mayoral race incorrectly quoted the Bible as saying that money is the root of all evil. The verse in question (1 Timothy 6:10) describes how the love of money is the root of all evil, rather than money itself.
