Flying Fox falters late as NZ’s Hillier fires 67

Kiwi ace Ryan Fox (67-71) is two-under at the Charles Schwab PGA tour event in Fort Worth, trailing England rookie Harry Hall (62-66) by 10 shots yesterday. Fox birdied 13-14-15, but bogeyed 16 and 18 to falter. NZ’s Steve Alker (70-69) is seven shots behind Ireland’s Padraig Harrington (64-68) at the Senior PGA major in Texas. NZ’s Michael Long (76-74) missed the cut by three, while Michael Campbell (77-75) missed by five. Kiwi DP tour rookie Daniel Hillier (70-67) is three behind Spanish leader Jose Campillo (63-71) in the Netherlands.
