TSB still a favourite

TSB has been named the nation’s favourite bank with its customers for the sixth year in a row.

The bank, which has its head office in New Plymouth, won the 2021 Consumer New Zealand People’s Choice Award after annual industry survey. The survey found 82 per cent of its customers are very satisfied with the service at TSB, against a nationwide industry average of 64 per cent.

In an emailed statement, TSB chief executive Donna Cooper said the award was an honour for the TSB team. ‘‘To win this award for the sixth year in a row is fantastic recognition of the extra lengths our people go to look out for our customers, especially with New Zealanders needing support more than ever due to Covid-19.’’

Consumer NZ chief executive Jon Duffy said TSB was the only financial services provider in New Zealand to win more than three years in a row.
