Jumps racing returns

After an absence of more than 20 years jumps racing will be the feature at the Waverley races on Sunday, August 21. President Nigel Baker is looking forward to the day and expects a good crowd to attend. The meeting would normally be held at Rotorua but with their track and others in the area unavailable the meeting has been moved to Waverley. The Waverley Racing Club will also hold their Cup meeting on Sunday, September 11 and a further race day on Thursday, October 6.
