Man allegedly stabbed

Aman is in serious condition and awoman has been arrested after an alleged stabbing on the Kāpiti Coast on Thursday night. Detective Senior Sergeant Rebecca Cotton said police were called to a home on Kaimanawa St in Paraparaumu just after 9pm, following a report aman had been stabbed. The incidentwas allegedly related to family harmand awoman has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harmand contravening a protection order. Shewas due to appear in the Porirua District Court. The manwas taken to Wellington Hospital in serious condition.
