TO THE POINT

Low voter turnout is to be expected. Try finding a post office, let alone a post box. Try finding a car park near your local library or the Wellington City Council office. Try catching a bus to any of the above – one might turn up. How does a person vote if they are housebound (I couldn’t find any information about that)? It’s time to go to online voting. Noeline Holt, Roseneath

The Inland Revenue deserves this money. Ian Gaskin, Wairoa

Children’s hospital opens (Sept 30) – a headline beyond our wildest dream. To Mark Dunajtschik and Dorothy Spotswood – forever – thank you, thank you, thank you. Marg Pearce, Whitby
