Expressway excuses

Waka Kotahi is again making excuses over the opening for Christmas of the Peka Peka to taki expressway ( Christmas opening a tight fit, Dec 1).

I pass the road on business every other day and rarely see any activity, so how about working nights to complete the work, as was done with Transmission Gully? No excuses this time, it needs to be open for the Christmas/New Year peak traffic flow.

Waka Kotahi is very good at PR spin – we had all that with Transmission Gully too.
