Wynne McLachlan sent us this photo of celebrations of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation at Auckland Town Hall. The group is from the Johnnie Academy of Ball Dancing in Remuera, Auckland, where Wynne attended. The celebration took place the weekend of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation and everyone had to wear formal attire. Wynne says they had a marvellous time dancing and forming the “E” in celebration and doing other forms of dancing. Wynne is fourth from the bottom on the straight line in the “E”.
