Support for refugees

Could someone please explain why the Red Cross has lost the contract to support newly arrived refugees in three of our main centres, apparently leading to difficulties as reported in Refugees’ unsettling arrival (May 30) and Call for urgency over resettlement issues (May 31)?

It’s hard to understand why a move away from a very experienced organisation such as this would be an improvement.
