MAX GIBSON started with Mangoihe Logging in February 2020 as a keen 16 year old via a secondary school work placement programme from Feilding High School. After gaining a solid understanding of log specifications and skid work, Max’s niche for log loading became apparent and he has trained to a high standard in these machines.

Max always goes beyond the call of duty in pursuing excellence in his log loading and genuinely cares about delivering excellent-quality product.

He receives rave reviews by many truck drivers, with particular notice of his age and skill level.

At just 19 years of age, Max is a deserving recipient and a true inspiration to the younger generation working in the forestry industry.

He is lucky to have his office working in the great outdoors and is well on the way to becoming a fully fledged ‘bushman’.
