Obscene prize

I agree wholeheartedly with Russell McKenzie (Letters, Oct 26). That the $42 million Lotto pool has been paid out to one ticket is obscene. Especially given that low-income families are the largest contributors to this bonanza.

Lotto desperately needs to be recalibrated.

No prize should exceed $5m Above that, the prize pool money should be shared among a greater number of ticketholders.
