Centralising power
Like good Fabian socialists the Government is slowly but surely concentrating all power and authority in central government. Whether it be Three Waters, DHBs, infill housing, or vaccination passports, the Government is taking over all decision-making. What’s next, I ask? They might as well cancel the next local body elections. There will be nothing left for councils to do except organise the Christmas parade, and even that is not guaranteed.
