Interesting battle

It was very interesting watching the National Party leadership battle over the few days it was going on.

We watched while Simon Bridges, a ‘‘has been there, done that and failed’’ was up against Christopher Luxon, a wannabe with little political experience.

What was really missing from the leadership race and what to date doesn’t seem to have been asked of the party is why none of the other 33 MPs it has in Parliament, many very senior in the amount of years they have been there, put their hands up for the job?
