YOUR WEEKEND

E-bikes, food costs, sweater weather, BookTok and warming winter drinks that’s of what you’ ll n din this issue, dear readers. Life’s all in the details, and some details I loved this week are… The fact that the couple who live in our home of the week (page 14) have to almost exclusively wear cream when at home due to dog cat hair. I mean, cream looks instantly elegant and con dent (people who wear cream sweaters etc aren’t worried about stains), so I think it really works for them, and their pets are so cute I’m sure it’s totally worth the sacrifice.

In the istory orner picture page all eyes are on the ueen, naturally, but look a little closer and you’ll notice a photographer on a roof. Iu st love imagining thee or the went to to get that shot( and I really hope the ueen looked his way, otherwise the ladder drudgery would have been a bit in vain). These days I suppose he’d be a drone (although, drones probably aren’t encouraged around monarchs. ar from it).

And I was delighted to learn, courtesy of the wonderful Barbara, on page 19, that you can grow six plus smaller cabbages from the remains of one cabbage (I’ll never look at a cabbage the same again).

Again, it’s the little things and I hope you have a great weekend lled with small delights.
