Kafkaesque finding

In a Kafkaesque finding teacher Greg Robinson, 72, was found guilty of serious misconduct for removing the earphones from two year 10 students who refused to stop listening to music in class or making noise. Robinson’s appeal was declined.

Standards really have dropped through the floor since I was a high school student. It seems some of today’s pupils are aware of their rights down to the last syllable but remain blissfully indifferent to the fact these rights are reciprocal.

Teachers such as Robinson must try and run classes comprised of young people whose parents have failed to discipline them or impart respect for other human beings, all with their hands firmly tied behind their backs.
