have to avoid so many articles featuring individuals ‘‘being held to account’’ for their bad behaviour, as they are so depressing. Fortunately The Press features Katoitoi so I can always read about local people doing good stuff (Kiwis donate money to plant 23,000 trees in Uganda, August 12).

Graham Townsend has been helping the citizens in Uganda for years by providing his own money and encouraging NZ citizens to contribute as well.
