John Pearson’s letter (Dec 1) on indicators is something I have been meaning to bring up for a long time.

Roundabouts are the worst, 50% of drivers either indicate wrong or don’t indicate at all. Drivers enter roundabouts with the right indicator on and exit with the right indicator still on, or they don’t bother indicating at all. Sadly, professional drivers such as truck drivers, taxi drivers, courier drivers, and bus drivers are just as bad.

I even saw a police car enter the QE2 roundabout with the right indicator on and exit with it still on. Is it just a Christchurch thing or does it happen everywhere? Lloyd Geange, Casebrook
