Another building bites the dust . . .

Demolition of the former ANZ building on Tay St began yesterday to make way for further construction of the Invercargill CBD redevelopment. Now, there are only three more buildings to be demolished at the site, which have been recently purchased by HWCP on Dee St. Stage one of the city block development, being carried out by Invercargill Central Ltd, includes car parks, retail, and a food and beverage precinct. The target is to have anchor retail tenant Farmers department opened in May 2022.
