Bailey O’Donnell was one of the first members of the Oxford Edge team back in 2017, and joins the team for the Tour of Southland after multiple seasons in Europe. With a Junior World Title to his name in the team pursuit, and a win in the Grape Ride and fifth in Le Race this year, he promises to bring some good form to the team. Camden Feint joins the team after a full season of racing in France, and is looking forward to the climbing stages on the tour. With a second place in the U19 national time trial championships to his name, he will be looking for opportunities out on the road. Cathal Guiney balances training with his studies at Otago University, and loves making his way into the breakaways, favouring the toughest days on the road. Richard Lawson wears multiple hats, as he is not just a rider, but also the manager of the Oxford Edge team, which he set up to provide opportunities for talented young riders. He spent eight plus seasons racing overseas in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia and Asia, and brings a wealth of experience to the team. Michiel van Heyningen is the youngest member of the team at 18 years of age, making his debut in the tour this year. He has a solid pedigree on road and track, including winning the U19 Madison title at the Oceania Championships. Guy Yarrell will be making his debut in the tour this year. He has had a great year on the road, taking the win in Around Brunner, as well as recording a fifth place finish in Twizel-Timaru.
