IAM Games offers chance to try adapted sports

Registrations are now open for the inaugural iAM Games in Invercargill. The games have been designed as a two-day festival of fun for young people with a disability, aimed at providing opportunities to experience a range of adapted sports at venues around the city. Held on July 8 and 9, the new event is being hosted by Inclusive Activity Murihiku. The games will cater to young people aged 5 to 21. A wide range of sporting codes will be providing adapted offerings, including archery, goal ball, athletics, hockey, cycling, cricket, clip’n’climb, rugby, football, swimming and water polo, with more events to be confirmed.
