SC has 146 new cases

There are 146 new Covid-19 cases in South Canterbury, and 11 in Timaru Hospital. Yesterday’s announcement from the South Canterbury District Health Board shows there are now 861 active cases in the region, and 13,582 cases have recovered in 2022. Of those new cases, 131 are in the Timaru District, eight in the Waimate District, five in the Mackenzie District, and two from unknown locations. This brings the total number of active cases in the Timaru District to 741, 83 in Waimate, 31 in the Mackenzie , and six from unknown locations.
