EV charging

The South Canterbury Eco Centre, and the Crow’s Nest shop next door, now have EV charging available to the public, and charging is free until January 31. The two Zero EV chargers are available for daytime public use. Getting the chargers installed is key to the Eco Centre’s purpose of educating the public about how to create a sustainable future, in which electric vehicles have a key role to play, trustee Rhys Taylor says. The AC chargers each have two charging points meaning four electric vehicles can be charged at one time.
