Ukraine War

Two ideas which might be helpful with the war in Ukraine. The first will need the okay from the Ukraine brave president/prime minister.

Hearts and minds – The Crimean Peninsula covers a vast area so why not offer young Russian soldiers 100 acres there if they surrender when liberated. The climate surrounded by the Black Sea would alone appeal to conscripts from more frozen parts of Leningrad and Siberia.

Defence against missile attacks – After the devastating Argentinian missile attacks, sinking so many Royal Navy ships off the Falklands in 1984, when I was serving at Middle Wallop, billions was spent on two massive new aircraft carriers. Boris said they were safe from missile attacks with vastly improved essential air defence capability. Surely these systems can be relocated to a real war, instead of showing the flag in Norfolk, Virginia and elsewhere to show that Britain is great again – now he is gone.
