A big thank you from the Irvine family

1.30am on July 8 saw me entering Rhesus 3 with a heart attack. Many thanks to all staff for their excellent and specialised care, in particular, ‘‘Mike’’, who kept my family informed constantly of what he was doing reducing their stress levels considerably, much appreciated.

After being stabilised, I was transferred to Cardiac Care 3. Again, the professional care and attention which I received was amazing.

Any tests being carried out were explained fully and their results presented back as soon as they were available.

Many thanks to the cardiac team (all doctors, nurses, and support staff) for their care.

We are so lucky to have such amazing health professionals at Te Whatu Ora Health -Waikato.
