Dame Susan Devoy became a household name in Aotearoa when she became the world’s number one ranked squash player in 1984. She stayed in the spotlight, ruling the court, before serving as the Race Relations Commissioner for five years from 2013. Then, last year, she won a whole new generation of admirers with her truly iconic run on Celebrity Treasure Island. Now, Devoy is back on the beach, returning for another attempt to take the crown on Celebrity Treasure Island: Fans v Faves, competing against, among others, her son, Josh Oakley.
