Arrests after burglary

Police have arrested two people in relation to a burglary at commercial premises early yesterday morning. About 4.20am, a store in Killarney Rd, Hamilton, was broken into and vape products were stolen. Some of those products were recovered when police searched an address in Hamilton East. The two arrested – aged 15 and 17 – were scheduled to appear in Hamilton Youth Court today, charged with offences relating to yesterday’s burglary and other recent ramraid offences in Hillcrest and Glenview on May 23. The earlier offences relate to break-ins at two New World supermarkets.
