Burst pipe sends huge plume of water overAro St

A burst pipe along a street in Aro Valley has sent a huge plume of water across the road. Wellington City Council spokesperson Victoria Barton-Chapple confirmed they had been contacted about the burst pipe and referred the matter to Wellington Water. According to Wellington Water’s website, a burst pipe along Aro St about 12.40pm meant water was cut off to about 100 households. Water was restored by about 4pm after the burst pipe was repaired.
