Slings and roundabouts

As 2023 draws to a close, the issue of weeding and care at major Richmond roundabouts continues to be an issue.

My scorecard for Waka Kotahi is a 3/10. There appears to be no consistency to roundabout presentation, with stones, grass/weeds, bare soil all being utilised, with the weed control and lawn-mowing care extremely variable.

You can explain or provide excuses all you like, but over the last decade, this issue is one of lowered standards and lack of attention. Whoever has project management responsibility for maintaining Richmond roundabouts in a consistently tidy state needs an Xmas rocket instead of Xmas presents
