Much safer now

What a delight to attend the opening of the new Heathcote cycleway yesterday, and know that I no longer have to risk my life biking into town along Port Hills Rd beside all the heavy trucks.

Thank you to those city councillors and others who pushed for a whole network of cycleways around town and beyond. It is now safer for us and our children to commute or just ride for recreation, saving money, the planet and health bills.
