Cracking pleasure

I was amazed to open the paper on Saturday and see that the maker of my beloved Code-Cracker, Simon Shuker, lives in New Zealand (Bringing puzzles up to code).

For years, and I don’t know why, I had imagined that he lived in the northern hemisphere.

The Code-Cracker has given me, my sister-in-law and no doubt millions of people so much enjoyment over more years than I can remember.

It takes a boffin to come up with these puzzles daily.
