Red Sea racing set to be repeat of 2021 showdown

Team New Zealand were last night poised for another showdown with the impressive Luna Rossa boat after qualifying for the match race final a day early with two more victories in the America’s Cup preliminary regatta in Jeddah yesterday morning. The Kiwi and Italian syndicates raced in the Cup decider in Auckland in 2021 when the hosts retained the Auld Mug and the two rivals were expected to meet again in the final after sailing bow to bow on the Red Sea.
