Ko battles back with two late birdies

Kiwi ace Lydia Ko (69-74) would have missed the cut but for two late birdies at the LPGA’s Cognizant Founders Cup in New Jersey yesterday. The 25-year-old Kiwi is one-under overall and tied for 61st. Resurgent NZ pro Steve Alker (68-69) is four shots back in the US Champions Tour’s Tradition in Alabama.
