Writea Christmas card

Remember handwriting? It’s a long time since many of us have seen or done it, but receiving a considered, handwritten card in the letterbox is one of the silly season’s great joys. Writing it can be just as fun. But don’t bother blatting out a pile of impersonal ‘have a great holiday’ cards that end up in landfill. Select someone you really want to acknowledge or connect with this year and tell them why. Share a funny memory, details about your year they may not know and kind wishes for the year ahead. It’ll give you as many warm fuzzies as it does them and likely live in a shoebox under the bed, giving joy for years to come.
